The Intimacy Project - We had such a wonderful experience with Jeff and Melissa going through the Intimacy Project. Our eyes were opened up to dreaming bigger for our family and our marriage, and it brought unity and clarity to dreams we already had. There was a session on intimacy that really impacted our relationship and got us to think outside of the box on what intimacy could look like. We have noticed as a couple that we are finding ourselves continuing to dream bigger and even attracting new friends who are crazy dreamers as well. The Intimacy Project - Jeff and Melissa have inspired us by their example and leadership in marriage. Sandy and I have been married for 23 years and have had our share of difficulties within our marriage. As a result we have a heart to help others in their marriages. As pastors, we regularly are able to do so.
They led us though The Intimacy Project. The insights and disciplines encouraged us so much that we decided to lead a whole group of other married couples through The Intimacy Project. We found ways to engage in marriage and friendships in an entirely new way. We have the privilege of meeting with couples regularly to help support marriages in trouble, and we began incorporating some of the Intimacy Project concepts. This produced immediate results, infusing the couples with instant hope. They began engaging in this new way, and it changed their intimacy level. They are very effective and encourage the couples in their relationship to each other and to God.
We know the journey for Jeff and Melissa was grueling to keep diving deeper together, but it’s their testimony that they have gone through it themselves that helps to keep people engaged in the journey too, and we are so thankful for each moment they pressed that reset button and fought to keep dreaming together again. We are huge proponents of what Jeff and Melissa are doing and give our highest recommendation to them as a couple and their ministry.

The Identity Project - Melissa has a genuine sensitivity and compassion for people’s hearts and their God given dreams. In her practice she validated mine, compassionately listened and guided me to address the obstacles that were paralyzing me from taking actions toward my dream. The Intimacy Project - Watching Melissa and Jeff Borglin operate as a team in marriage offers a wonderful model for couples to take a good marriage and make it great! My name is Phil Wiebe, and I am a pastor of 20 years in the state of Utah. 17 of those years I have been married to my wonderful wife, Melissa. We currently are church planters in a community 30 miles west of Salt Lake City and have been blessed by watching Jesus work in many, many people's lives.
Why do I share this? Well, church planting itself is no easy task, but church planting Utah is another story all together. It is quite easy to get discouraged and worn out. There are many days where we pray that God will bring us just a little more fuel for our tanks so we can keep fighting the fight.
It is in one of those prayers that God answered in the form of Jeff and Melissa Borglin. It just so happened that in April of 2022, I had a pastors meeting that I was invited to (I didn't really want to go, I was too busy), that I met this amazing couple. You see I have been trying to think outside the box on how to keep pushing the gospel forward in our community, asking God what's next, and he delivers two very Godly people, who just happen to think outside the box!
It is kind of funny when I think back on it, but I left that pastor's meeting intrigued by this guy who tells me I should look into church tax laws of all things (which turned out to be excellent advice), and then invites me to come have dinner with him and his wife. That is when things went from good to great! Jeff and Melissa took time in their lives to pour into us. In one meeting they invested in us, loved on us, and blessed us. It was one of those meetings where you walk away energized and excited.
I didn't know at the time that these were people that when they invest, they really invest. I kind of assumed that with all the travels they had ahead of them, we might hear from them every so often, maybe a couple times a year, but that is not how the Borglin’s role. They are ALL IN people. Actually, I don't think there has been a week that has gone by that Jeff hasn't checked in on me, encouraged me, or in some cases talk me back from whatever bomb I was about to set off out of the frustration that comes from pastoring.
Let me leave whoever reads this with this: I was asking for just a little fuel from God. What I got instead, was a full tanker of support, coaching, mentoring, and encouragement. My Melissa says Jeff's Melissa is unbelievably warm, genuine, and caring. I also think she is pretty awesome! Our tanks are filled and we are honored and blessed that God brought the Borglin’s into our lives!

The Identity Project - Last Easter Sunday, thanks to an unexpected Easter dinner invitation, I met Melissa and Jeff Borglin. Within the first few minutes it was clear that God had orchestrated this meeting; and our brief time together continues to bear fruit and sprout interesting dialogue about identity. Through additional conversations with Melissa and her writings on the subject I began to see the relevance of identity in every individual I met and also in organizations. I found myself looking at people and wondering what their identity is, if they are living in it and living life to the fullest in God’s ultimate purpose. Understanding our identity in Christ and the unique identity he as given each of us allow us to have far greater impact for the kingdom. I realized that more than a few people were not tuned in to their identity but quickly realized its importance.
These conversations have opened pathways in other conversations with churches, organizations and a variety of individuals bring additional clarity to their mission, vision and purpose. I especially see the critical importance in teams - how they function, how they work together, how they are aligned and the roles each individual member plays.

The Acceleration Project - Over the course of the year we have met with Jeff and Melissa consistently. What started as an exploration into what it could look like to "dream big with Jesus" has developed into an authentic relationship that has helped to shape our way of thinking about our purpose, identity and our entrepreneurial spirit.
The Identity Project - They have cared about us as individuals, but also as a married couple. They have enriched us in so many ways. Through nurturing creative thinking and challenging us to approach our life's purpose with a God sized vision that can only be accomplished with kingdom thinking.

The Intimacy Project - Our marriage would have completely broken without Jeff and Melissa Borglin. The Intimacy Project - Jeff & Melissa have been a strong support for our marriage, even before it started. The Identity Project - Melissa walked me through an identity reconciliation session during which she utilized my Strengths Finders results to map out potential ways I could better align myself with the unique identity that Christ has assigned to me. Although I've utilized personality inventories like Strengths Finders in the past, this concept of examining basement and balcony versions of my quantifiers, in the light of God's desire for my life, brought revelation. It challenged me to examine the weak points in my thinking and behavior and come up with an action plan to align my heart and awareness with where the Spirit could take me as I surrender these specific areas to Him.
The Intimacy Project - Melissa also walked my husband through this process and it was enlightening to him as well. The potential for growth just expands for marriage partners who are willing to do this work in tandem.
I believe Melissa has something substantial here in this identity reconciliation process. There is room to develop it even more, and it is pregnant with potential to spur growth in the lives of believers so that they can be effective vessels of God's glory and impact.
